Common questions

Where do I get a playlist?

From your IPTV provider. Tiny IPTV plays playlists but doesn't sell channels or subscriptions. Providers usually call it an M3U link or playlist URL, and the address often ends in .m3u or .m3u8.

How do I add a playlist?

Open Settings and choose Add Playlist, then enter the address your provider gave you. The name is optional. When the keyboard appears, you can type on your iPhone instead of the Siri Remote.

A channel won't play

Streams come straight from your provider, so a channel that won't play is usually offline or not available in your region. Choose Try Again, or Next Channel to move on. If many channels fail at once, check with your provider that your subscription is active.

My channel list is out of date

A playlist refreshes by itself when you open the app if it's more than 12 hours old. To update sooner, go to Settings and choose Refresh All Playlists, or open a playlist and choose Refresh Now. If an update fails, the playlist's page in Settings shows the reason.

How do I switch channels while watching?

Swipe down on the remote and choose the Channels tab. You'll see the channels from wherever you started watching, like a category, Favorites or search results.

How do I add or reorder favorites?

Press and hold a channel, then choose Add to Favorites. To change the order, press Reorder on the Favorites tab, or press and hold a favorite and choose Move Left, Move Right or Move to Beginning.

I hid a channel by mistake

Go to Settings and open Hidden Channels or Hidden Categories. You can unhide items one at a time or all at once.

A logo is wrong or missing

When a playlist has no logo for a channel, Tiny IPTV looks one up by the channel's name, and now and then it picks the wrong one. Clear Logo Cache in Settings makes the app load every logo again. If a logo is still wrong, email us the channel's name.

How do I use more than one playlist?

Add each one in Settings. Once you have more than one, a Playlist menu at the top of the category list in Channels switches between them. Search always looks through all of them.

Tell us which Apple TV model you have and which version of tvOS it's running. Please don't send your playlist address, since it usually contains your login for the provider.
